We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dynamic Home Manager to lead our brand new 3-bed EBD Children's Home. This is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning - to build a positive, nurturing environment from the ground up and lead a team dedicated to transforming young lives.

About the Role:

As Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it meets the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance in line with Ofsted requirements. You'll play a key role in shaping the culture, recruiting your own team, and embedding a child-centred ethos throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

Register with Ofsted and maintain compliance with all relevant legislation Provide leadership and management to a new staff team Create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties Drive continuous improvement to achieve Good and Outstanding outcomes Work closely with placing authorities, external partners, and families Monitor safeguarding, quality assurance, and risk management across the home Lead with integrity, compassion, and ambition

Requirements:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards) Minimum 2 years' experience managing or deputising in a children's residential setting Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and care planning Proven track record of leading teams and improving outcomes for young people Driver with access to own vehicle Passion for making a lasting difference in children's lives

Pay: 43,000.00-51,000.00 per year
