To provide administrative support to both the Home to School Transport service and the Operations team. This includes managing parent communications, route allocations, bookings, payments, and supporting the smooth running of daily operations.

Parents, Schools, Drivers, Accounts Team, and Operations Team

Workshop Team, Compliance, and Customer Service Team

Key responsibilities and expectations of the role
Manage all parent enquiries, bookings, and communications
Maintain accurate student records and route performance data
Monitor daily operations and handle issues promptly to avoid complaints
Support parents with software/app queries (Bus Hub, payment systems, etc.)
Ensure full utilisation of seats across routes
Manage lost property and parent feedback
Liaise with accounts to ensure regular payments are maintained
Keep website information and guides up to date
Provide general admin support to the operations team
Assist with booking parking, hotels, and ferry arrangements
Double-check trip details and driver information
Prepare quotes and ensure data accuracy
Support health & safety and compliance admin as needed
Create weekly reminders, reports, and follow-ups
Support the operations team for the smooth running of all scheduled bookings
Maintain swift responses to enquiries and updates on bookings from customers
Check all booking details ahead of departures for accuracy to ensure a smooth operation and customer experience on the day
Plan and book ahead for parking, ferries, hotels and any other requirements to ensure smooth running of bookings
Communicate effectively with the operations team
