The Role
We are looking for a highly organised individual to take on the role of Horticultural Services Coordinator. This role combines operational scheduling and administration with team management and client liaison to ensure that our horticultural services run smoothly and that our clients receive the highest standard of plant care across London.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee weekly rotas for 20+ horticulturists across 350+ client sites.
Allocate service rounds efficiently using scheduling systems and software.
Organise site access, permits, and RAMS for service visits and installations.
Monitor efficiency and implement improvements to service delivery.
Manage time off and return to work meetings after absences
Assist Head of Horticultural Services with the line management of horticultural team members and provide reports and updates on team performance and service delivery as well as client feedback.
Support Head of Horticultural Services with recruitment, inductions, and onboarding of new horticultural staff.
Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day client queries relating to the delivery of maintenance services, escalating broader issues as appropriate.
Resolve client service issues promptly and professionally.
Oversee plant replacement budgets to ensure displays remain fresh and high quality.
Manage stock and supplies for horticultural services.
Candidate Profile
Experience with scheduling, rotas and logistics (2+ years preferred)
Strong leadership and people management experience (2+ years preferred).
Highly organised, systematic, and detail oriented.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level customer service skills
Strong IT and administrative ability; experience with scheduling systems desirable.
Ability to problem-solve and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Horticultural knowledge is desirable but not essential.
Adaptability to navigate a dynamic environment and drive continuous improvement across the company
Job Details
Salary: From 37,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: Office-based in Farringdon with occasional work in our Operational office in Greenford
