The Macallan Apprentice will work towards and complete a SVQ in Hospitality Services at SCQF level 5 as well as SVQ Retail Skills SCQF level 5, whilst working within The Macallan Distillery experience teams on a rotational basis. The role ensures that all guests are given a world class luxury experience of The Macallan. Providing exceptional customer service that exceeds all expectations of our guests, to inspire lifelong enthusiastic brand advocacy of The Macallan. The role is a 2 year fixed term contract.

Complete all necessary work to achieve the SVQ in Hospitality Services & Retail Skills Help the team deliver a world-class brand experience at The Macallan Estate across Food & Beverage and Guest Experience rotations Maintain high standards of housekeeping and service in all F&B areas, ensuring they are set up and fully stocked Provide exceptional guest service, exceeding expectations Practice safe manual handling to move food and drink supplies Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner, ensuring clean crockery, cutlery, and glassware are available Complete seamless table turnarounds efficiently Understand all menu offerings and confidently explain items to guests Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner Ensure all serve ingredients are planned, sourced, prepared, and stored appropriately and in a timely manner Manage stock replenishment and ordering, with ice management as a key operational requirement Keep The Macallan Boutique immaculately presented, organised, and well-stocked Be willing to learn about The Macallan products and share that knowledge with guests

To be successful in this role, you are committed to excellent customer service, demonstrating strong numerical and literacy skills, along with good communication abilities. You are friendly and approachable to both customers and colleagues, quality-driven with high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. You maintain strong personal standards of timekeeping and a willingness to execute tasks perfectly, staying calm under pressure. You take pride in your work, showing a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, especially in handling cash and credit card transactions



Due to the apprenticeship qualification requirements, you must be aged between 18-24 in order to be eligible for this role.
