Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software.

Duties

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory standards. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Conduct daily reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights on variances. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on best practices in accounting. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, , or Xero for efficient financial management. Stay updated on financial regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential. Strong knowledge of financial services and financial management principles. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills for liaising with team members and stakeholders. Experience in mentoring or training staff is advantageous. Familiarity with financial accounting practices and principles is required.
