Job Opportunity: Live-Out Duty Manager

Location: Windermere Boutique Hotel, Windermere, The Lake District

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and skilled at multitasking? Join our charming 8-bedroom boutique hotel, renowned for luxury spa rooms with hot tubs, nestled in the breath-taking Lake District.

Position: Duty Manager (Live-Out)

Type: Full-Time, approximately 40 hours per week (over 5 days, straight shifts)

Schedule: Same days off each week (Friday & Saturday), with adjustments during staff holidays; Christmas Day off; 2-3 sleepovers per week

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the smooth running of the hotel operations, including Reception,

Check-in/Check-out, Housekeeping, and Kitchen duties

Provide outstanding customer service and handle guest inquiries

Assist in all departments as needed, stepping in to support team members

Manage and coordinate staff scheduling and performance

Contribute to restaurant operations, including cooking or willingness to be trained in culinary duties

Problem-solving and thinking on your feet to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar managerial or supervisory role is advantageous

Excellent written and spoken English

Good working knowledge of Zonal Booking software (full training provided)

Strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude

Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing situations

Willingness to be trained in cooking and other duties as required
