Broadoaks Country House

is an award-winning 20-bedroom boutique hotel and one of the Lake District's most sought-after exclusive-use wedding venues. We deliver luxury with warmth, personality and impeccable attention to detail.

We now seek a dynamic, hands-on

General Manager

to lead the entire operation.

This is a highly visible role: you will be on the floor daily, actively supporting FOH service during busy periods, personally welcoming guests, and ensuring every stay and every wedding exceeds expectations.

Key responsibilities

Full operational and financial responsibility for the hotel, restaurant, bar and events Staff recruitment, rotas, stock management and event preparations Leading and developing our venue team Working with our Sales Team to drive wedding sales and delivering flawless exclusive-use weddings (frequently 3-4 per week in peak season) Maintaining our outstanding reputation for service, food and guest experience Working closely with the owners to continually improve the business Reporting directly to our Group Venues Director
