Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a foundation in mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems, with the ability to tackle a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Handy Man will play a crucial role in ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical. Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions. Supervise and lead small teams on specific projects when necessary. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests and inquiries. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Weld components as required for repairs or installations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge and electrical systems. Familiarity with logic controllers is advantageous. Leadership experience is preferred, particularly in supervising teams or projects. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with clients and team members. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic in troubleshooting scenarios. A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
