Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, promoting safety and efficiency within the workplace.

Duties

Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to programmable logic controllers and electrical systems. Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions. Perform welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications. Utilise mechanical knowledge to maintain and repair various mechanical systems. Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or clients. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs conducted.

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics effectively for troubleshooting purposes. Welding skills are an advantage but not essential. Previous supervising experience is beneficial for leading a small team. Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety.
