Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Porter to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, contributing to a welcoming and hospitable environment. A background in hospitality or guest services is preferred, along with strong communication skills.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance areas, and other public spaces. Provide information about the hotel's amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Support the front desk team during busy periods by managing guest flow and assisting with check-in/check-out processes.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable but not essential. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
