Job Summary

:-

We are seeking a trustworthy, reliable and friendly Night Porter to join our team. As a Night Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the hotel and the cleanliness and overall appearance of our establishment. Your excellent guest services skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating a positive experience for our guests.

Duties

:-

Safety & Security duties including fire safety and security patrols and routine checks of firefighting equipment

Check in of late arrivals - respond promptly to guest requests or inquiries with a friendly and helpful attitude

Use of internal systems including Fire Alarm and Room Booking system

Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms

Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas

General tidiness of the external areas and car park

Set up and prepare the restaurant for breakfast service

Assist with moving furniture or equipment if needed and other general duties as required.

Follow all safety and security protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements

:-

Prior experience in a similar role preferred

Ability to work alone and unsupervised and use self initiative

Basic IT knowledge, skills and experience required

Excellent customer service and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards

Knowledge of phone etiquette is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

High standards of personal hygiene
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Shift Pattern

:-

Sunday-Thursday: 11pm-7am

Friday-Saturday: 11.45pm-7.45am

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
