Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Porter to join our hospitality team. The shifts will be from 12am through to 9am in the morning on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday however weekend Shifts will be required from time to time mostly to cover holiday leave.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests by maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the premises. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff alike.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage as needed. Maintain the cleanliness of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Ensure that all guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently, providing exceptional service at all times. Assist in setting up and breaking down events or meetings held within the hotel premises. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and report any shortages to management. Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating strong phone etiquette. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for all visitors. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
