We are seeking a dedicated and professional Porter to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, providing exceptional service and support throughout their stay. This position requires a strong focus on guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance area, and other public spaces.
Provide information about the hotel's amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
Assist with room service deliveries and ensure timely responses to guest requests.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Support housekeeping staff by delivering items to rooms or assisting with special requests.
Monitor the condition of the hotel premises and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for visitors.
Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest calls and inquiries effectively.
A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
