Job Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Night Porters. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the hotel overnight and ensuring exceptional guest services. Responsibilities

Cover the reception desk from 10pm - 7am by taking handover from the evening reception team until the morning reception team arrives

Work through a checklist of tasks throughout the night shift and whilst on duty

Checking guests in and out of the hotel in a friendly and efficient manner

Greeting guests and creating a positive first impression

Assisting with guest enquiries and queries

Enhance the guests' experience by offering additional activities and upselling where appropriate by having a detailed knowledge of the hotel facilities

Handle telephone calls in a professional manner and redirect where appropriate

Build rapport with all guests, fostering a welcoming and loyal customer base

Conduct security checks and walk rounds across the site at specific times

Report any issues and incidents to the management team and/or General Manager

Handle guests feedback and issues in a timely and efficient manner

Carry out any cleaning duties in areas of the hotel as prescribed by the management team including all front entrances and outside the hotel to ensure that it is always clean and tidy

Assist the kitchen and restaurant with any food preparation and set up, ready for breakfast

To have a full understanding of the hotel fire procedures including all the health and safety policy, to always ensure the safety of all guests and staff

Skills & Experience

Excellent communication skills and computer knowledge

Polite, professional and guest focused approach

An eye of detail, and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the role

Confident in using booking systems and handling multiple tasks at once

A sales-minded attitude with the ability to promote services and packages

Knowledge of spa and hotel operations is a plus (training provided)

Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00 per hour
