Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Hotel Receptionist with experience using Opera software to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, managing reservations, handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Proficiency in Opera software is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
Manage hotel reservations using Opera software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Process guest check-ins and check-outs swiftly and accurately.
Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
Assist guests with luggage and other needs as required.
Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
Keep updated records of guest interactions and transactions.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Hotel Receptionist or similar role.
Proficiency in using Opera software for hotel management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and transactions.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Hospitality Management is a plus.
