Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
Manage reservations, including booking rooms, modifying existing bookings, and handling cancellations.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and dining options to enhance the guest experience.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and efficiency, escalating issues as necessary.
Process payments accurately and maintain financial records in accordance with hotel policies.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and high levels of guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an advantage, enhancing communication with international guests.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest requests.
Proficient in using RezLynx systems for booking management and payment processing is desirable.
A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to assist guests and create memorable experiences.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by the hotel's operational needs.
