We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team at 62 Castle Street Hotel, a boutique hotel in the heart of Liverpool city.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
Manage phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using the hotel management system.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
Assist with billing inquiries and ensure all charges are processed correctly at check-out.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Skills
Strong background in hospitality or previous experience in a hotel environment is essential
Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences.
Proficient in using hotel management software and basic computer applications.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing bookings and guest requests.
Bar experience also preferred to serve the odd alcoholic beverage from our lounge bar( but this is not a deal breaker as training can be given )

The position is 16 with occasional overtime. The shifts will be split - over 3 days.
1 position available will include 1 weekend day and 1 full weekend every month the other shifts will be 2 4pm-8/9pm
