We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. A background in hospitality or hotel experience is highly desirable.
Duties
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly welcome
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions
Maintain accurate records of bookings and reservations
Process payments and manage cash transactions
Respond to phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing guest needs promptly
Assist with guest services, including room service requests, concierge services, and special arrangements
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanour
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
Multilingual or bilingual skills are an advantage, enhancing communication with diverse guests
Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
