The Hotel Receptionist will manage front desk operations, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and handle guest inquiries efficiently. Duties
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude.
Manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a courteous manner.
Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring all materials are up to date.
Process reservations and cancellations using the hotel management system.
Assist with billing inquiries and payments as necessary.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when answering calls or directing inquiries.
Experience
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong guest services skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for guests.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required for effective interaction with guests and team members.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
