Job Description
Strathburn Hotel is managed by Compass Hospitality and located in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
We are a 27 bedroom hotel looking for a reception team member who will be part of a small team.
As Receptionist your key responsibilities include:
Providing a friendly and efficient service to guests at all times ensuring company policy and procedures are complied with at all times
Being knowledgeable to promote the hotel and its facilities to guests, while dealing with guest queries/complaints promptly, referring to the Duty Manager, where appropriate
Providing accurate shift handovers ensuring all items requiring attention are detailed in handover diary and the shift checklist is completed to required standard.
To be fully aware of and understand Fire, Bomb, Health and Safety and emergency procedures.
What we are looking for:
Previous experience in a quality hotel
Excellent communications skills
Experience of using a Front Office Management system, e.g., Rezlynx, EPOS
Ability to work on a rota basis, including weekend work. Typical shifts are 07:00-15:00 or 15:00-23:00, as the business requires
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
Inverurie AB51 4GY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
