Job Description

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist/General Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner. Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing enquiries or directing calls as necessary. Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times. Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, providing information about hotel services and local attractions. Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring satisfactory resolutions. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience. Serving drinks to hotel guests and assisting in the Food and Beverage department, as and when required.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a background in hotel or hospitality environments preferred. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Proficient in using office equipment and computer software relevant to reception duties. A friendly disposition with a professional appearance and demeanour. Experience of working with RezLynx/Guestline preferred but training will be given
