Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information and billing. Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities. Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring all materials are up to date and accessible. Process reservations via phone, email, or in-person while maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay. Address any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and urgency to ensure resolution.

Skills

Strong phone etiquette is essential for handling calls professionally and courteously. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is highly desirable. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with a diverse range of guests. Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
