We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a strong ability to manage guest inquiries, handle reservations, and efficiently maintain front desk operations. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction are essential.
Duties
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly welcome.
Manage check-in and check-out processes smoothly and efficiently.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest information.
Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
Process payments and manage cash handling procedures accurately.
Ensure the reception area is organised, clean, and presentable at all times.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Assist in managing phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, ensuring all inquiries are addressed.
Experience
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong guest service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour.
Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage, but training will be provided.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
