We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team for afternoon work Fridays and Saturdays from 12-8 or 3 -23. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage reservations efficiently using the hotel management system
Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information
Process payments securely and issue receipts as required
Uphold hotel policies and procedures at all times to ensure safety and security
Skills
Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Experience with Hotel booking systems.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional appearance
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence
