We are seeking a professional and friendly Seasonal Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests and visitors at our two hotels, Hotel Penzance Harbour View and Hotel Penzance Promenade.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service, organizational skills, a strong command of phone etiquette, Manage bookings and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Duties
Greet, Check in and welcome guests and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
Manage incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
Inputting reservations on to our Rezlynx system
Inputting restaurant reservations on to our Fork system
Perform data entry tasks accurately, ensuring that all information is up to date in our systems.
Deal with all guest and visitor enquires.
Organise and maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Handle correspondence, including emails, booking inquires and postal mail, efficiently and professionally.
Always willing to help other team members when needed in other areas of the business.
Assist other departments in our busy periods.
Requirements
Experience in using Guestline Rezlynz software is preferred but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills.
Confident computer skills.
Hospitality background is preferred.
