We are looking for a friendly, professional, and reliable Hotel Receptionist to join our front desk team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service in a beautifully presented hotel that is privatelly owned and operated, offering a more personal and welcoming working environment. As the first point of contact for guests, you will help create a positive and memorable experience from arrival to departure.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check in and check out procedures
Manage reservations efficiently
Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person
Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information
Address guest concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Process payments securely
Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests
Experience
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential, training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with reservation systems and basic administrative tasks is desirable
A friendly, professional demeanour with a passion for delivering excellent guest service
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Professional appearance and positive attitude
