We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering exceptional guest services and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out procedures on opera.
Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently
Provide accurate information regarding hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared to high standards
Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction
Process payments securely using the hotel's booking system
Uphold hotel policies and procedures at all times to ensure safety and security
Requirements
Proven experience in a hotel reception or customer service role is preferred
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills in both spoken and written English; multilingual abilities or bilingual skills are advantageous
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of hospitality software systems is desirable
A friendly, approachable demeanour with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
