Hotel Receptionist
. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll play a key role in making a lasting first impression, driving sales, and ensuring our guests experience exceptional service every step of the way. If you're confident, love upselling, and have a knack for making people feel at home, then this role could be for you!
While previous experience in a reception role isn't essential--we'll provide all the training you need--we're looking for someone who can engage with customers, promote in-house events, and encourage our residents to enjoy every extra we have to offer.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
Welcome guests with a warm, engaging personality and ensure they have a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
Upselling & Driving Sales:
Enthusiastically promote in-house events, dining options, and extras, ensuring guests know all the wonderful opportunities available to enhance their stay.
Reservation Management:
Manage bookings with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring guests' requests and preferences are noted.
Customer Engagement:
Be a friendly and approachable presence at the front desk. You'll confidently communicate with guests to help with any inquiries and build lasting relationships.
Problem-Solving:
Handle guest concerns with a positive, "can-do" attitude, ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.
Administrative Duties:
Manage phone calls, emails, and guest requests, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front desk.
Security & Safety:
Maintain the safety and security of the hotel by monitoring key areas and ensuring all procedures are followed.

Sales & Upselling Skills:
You'll be great at promoting our hotel services, upselling rooms, and encouraging guests to book additional services or extras. If you're good at spotting opportunities to add value, this is the role for you!
No Experience Needed:
While experience in reception or customer service roles is a plus, it's not essential. What's more important is your confidence, enthusiasm, and passion for delivering exceptional service. We'll train you in everything else!
Team Player:
You'll work closely with the rest of the hotel team to ensure every guest has an amazing experience, so being a supportive and friendly team member is key.
Multitasking & Organisation:
Ability to stay on top of multiple tasks at once, without compromising the quality of service. You'll thrive in a busy environment and keep everything running smoothly.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Experience in a customer service or reception role is beneficial, but not a requirement. We're more interested in your attitude and ability to engage with guests.
Skills:
Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with others. A flair for sales and upselling is a big plus!
Availability:
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
