We have an exciting opportunity for two well organised and self-motivated

Sports Facilities Assistants

to join the East Durham College Team on a Casual hourly paid basis. As it is a casual role you would not be guaranteed a set amount of hours a week, this could vary from 0+ a week.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us in our busy Sports Centre, the centre is open to students and the public. The ideal candidate will be able to work weekend shifts, with the flexibility of working during the week if needed, be responsible for opening and locking up the building, ensuring that the facilities are maintained in a safe, effective order. Delivering Inductions and Fitness Classes, to take and confirm bookings internally and externally. Provide reception duties including phone handling and administrative duties. The successful candidate will: Hold a minimum of a Level 2 Gym Instructors qualification, to be qualified to lead/instruct fitness classes with the relevant qualifications or be prepared to work towards the fitness class qualifications and first aid qualification.
