Housekeeper

to join our small, friendly team.

Job Overview:

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the cleaning, preparation, and presentation of our four luxury cottages, as well as supporting the cleanliness and organisation of the family home. First impressions matter, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in creating warm, inviting, and immaculate spaces for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and preparing cottages to a consistently high standard Carrying out general housekeeping duties in the family home Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors Dusting and polishing surfaces and furniture Ironing, laundry, handwashing, and dry cleaning Changing bed linen and making beds to a hotel-standard finish Deep cleaning of kitchens and bathrooms Ensuring all rooms are clean, tidy, and presentable for guests Emptying bins and managing waste appropriately Identifying and reporting any maintenance or inventory issues to your supervisor Supporting household management and organisation

Essential Skills & Attributes:

High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality Strong communication skills to report issues or requests Pride in creating a welcoming first and last impression for guests Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or hospitality role An understanding of the travel, tourism, or luxury accommodation industry A keen eye for detail - you naturally notice when something is out of place A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences An interest in Research and Marketing
