Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for all residents. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to enhance the overall appearance of the property. Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate methods and equipment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner. Occasionally assist with cooking or food preparation when required for events or special occasions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
