Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-presented. Change bed linens and towels as required, ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained. Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding items. Assist with cooking and meal preparation when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.

Skills

Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred. Experience in a hotel environment is an advantage but not essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Basic cooking skills are desirable to assist with meal preparation. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
