We are a welcoming guesthouse in the heart of Llandudno, known for our high standards of cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. We're now looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team and help us provide the very best stay for our guests.
What You'll Do
Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a consistently high standard
Change bed linens and towels
Replenish guest supplies (tea/coffee, toiletries, etc.)
Keep communal areas clean, tidy, and welcoming
Carry out vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and other general cleaning tasks
Assist with laundry as required
Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
What We're Looking For
Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is essential
Strong attention to detail with pride in delivering excellent standards
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Flexible and able to adapt to varying daily requirements
A positive, friendly attitude
Pay & Hours
Pay is based on a
per-room rate

Hours will vary depending on bookings and business needs
Work is typically mornings and early afternoons, in line with guest check-out/check-in times

Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Ensure that all rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and clothing as required.
Assist with cooking tasks when necessary, preparing meals according to dietary requirements or preferences.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties to ensure a safe environment for all.
Experience
Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred.
Experience in the hotel industry is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of hospitality standards.
Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is beneficial.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and guests.
