Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Edinburgh Waverley, 2-4 Waterloo Place, EH1 3EG

Working Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 17:00-20:00

Rate of Pay: 12.21 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

Job Introduction

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Edinburgh Waverley. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and is confident working independently during evening hours.

Main Responsibilities

Carrying out daily cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Maintaining cleanliness in office areas, restrooms, and communal spaces. Replenishing consumables such as soap, hand towels, and toilet paper. Ensuring cleaning equipment is used and stored safely and correctly. Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate person.

Ideal Candidate

Previous cleaning experience is preferred; office environment experience is desirable but not essential. Ability to work independently and follow instruction. A good understanding of health and safety practices. Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
