Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in Care home at Middlesbrough. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for residents and staff alike. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure they meet cleanliness standards. Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock supplies as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain a high level of organization in cleaning supplies and equipment. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management. Uphold the principles of hospitality by providing excellent service to guests.

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial practices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
