Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all areas are well-maintained and presentable, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and garments as required. Assist with cooking and meal preparation when necessary, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred. Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. A proactive approach to work with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently.
