stunning beach side location, boasting a 2.6-acre plot with breathtaking

views over Southampton water, located beside the English Heritage site

of Netley Abbey.

We are seeking to recruit a Housekeeper with proven experience .

As a new registration, this role provides an exciting opportunity to

create and shape a service specialising in catering to older adults, with

high needs Dementia care.

The Home is the latest addition to the Wavemill Healthcare Group,

which also runs a sister home nearby. With a legacy of over 20

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in commercial cleaning or hospitality is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned, dusted, and sanitised according to established standards. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all items are fresh and well-presented. Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Assist with cooking or food preparation when required, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items. A valid driver's licence may be advantageous for roles requiring travel between locations.
