Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and janitorial services, ensuring that our facilities are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and sanitation. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance. Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure all areas are tidy. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and health regulations to ensure guest safety. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Maintain an organised supply cart and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked appropriately.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar hospitality role is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies is advantageous. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety standards. A positive attitude with strong customer service skills is essential for interacting with guests.
