Housekeeping Manager

to lead our housekeeping team and uphold our reputation for excellence.

The Role

As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and immaculate environment for our guests. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring strong organisation, people management, and an eye for detail. You'll lead a dedicated team and play a vital part in ensuring guest satisfaction and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily housekeeping operations across all guest rooms and public areas. Lead, train, schedule, and supervise the housekeeping team to deliver consistent high standards Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation exceed expectations Manage stock levels and ordering of cleaning supplies and laundry services Work closely with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to coordinate room readiness and address any issues promptly Recruit, onboard, and develop team members Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback efficiently and professionally Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times Maintain accurate records including checklists, inventories, and rota schedules Report directly to the operations manager

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a housekeeping management or supervisory role within a hotel or similar environment Strong leadership and team development skills High attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and presentation Excellent organisational and time-management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Flexibility with working hours including weekends and bank holidays A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a positive attitude
