We have a rare Head of Department opportunity available, here at the Green Dragon Hotel!

We are currently looking to recruit a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level, in the position of Housekeeping Manager.

Key duties include:

To inspect guest rooms, including VIP, vacant, occupied and check-out rooms, to ensure that the high standards are being achieved Check the standards of the rooms and public areas Ensure sufficient supplies and equipment available to your team, to enable them to carry out their job Supervising Room Attendants and Floor Porters in your charge and making sure they have everything they need and that they are looked after Take care of any lost property Manage cleaning schedules to ensure consistent high levels of cleanliness are adhered to Assist with stock takes and control of inventories Monitor consumption of cleaning products and amenities to control wastage. Manage the recruitment, training, performance, absence and rotas for the department
Key requirements for this role are as follows:

Excellent customer service skills Previous experience of supervising/managing people is essential Ability to inspire, motivate and get the best out of people Great attention to detail Ability to work under pressure Ability to work independently Immaculate personal presentation
