Trewince Holiday Lodges is a family run business located in the centre of a 26-acre estate on the Roseland Peninsula. Trewince has been in the ownership of the same family for 40 years and we pride ourselves in providing our guests with a holiday experience of peace and tranquillity, away from the everyday stresses of daily life. We have a mixture of private and timeshare timber-frame lodges and a leisure complex.
Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to take charge of our housekeeping operation. Managing a small team to deliver exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation across the resort. This role will work alongside the Operations Manager, providing cover during periods of leave.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee all housekeeping operations during changeover days
Planning the housekeeping schedule on a weekly basis and ensuring staff capacity requirements
Liaising with private lodge owners regarding their compliance to continue letting their lodge to guests.
Conduct quality and Safety checks in every unit before guest arrival
Work in close partnership with the Maintenance team to coordinate timely repairs and refurbishments.
Assist in accurate portrayal of our lodges online including arranging photography
Budget & Inventory Control
Oversee the procurement of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
Monitor, track, and optimise usage of supplies across the resort.
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels to support seamless operations.
Liaise with our contracted laundry supplier throughout the season
Guest Experience & Quality
Guarantee the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all areas of the resort.
Respond to guest requests and feedback with professionalism, warmth, and care.
Assist with planning the design and implementation of refurbishments across the site
Essential Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years in housekeeping management role, preferably in hospitality
Leadership:
Proven experience managing teams of 5+ people
Standards:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
Communication:
Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
Physical:
Ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Driving license:
to use on-site vehicle
Flexibility:
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts

Working Hours
Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week including weekends and holidays. Flexibility required during peak seasons.
