With 39 beautifully designed bedrooms and suites, stunning public spaces and cosy corners throughout the hotel, Dormy House is all about creating warm, memorable experiences for our guests. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll play a key role in maintaining the exceptional standards our guests expect, while supporting and motivating a dedicated housekeeping team.
This is a hands-on, visible role within the hotel, ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, takes pride in immaculate presentation, and thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment.
What you'll be doing:
Supervising the cleaning and presentation of guest bedrooms and suites
Overseeing public areas including bars, restaurants and lounges
Supporting, guiding and motivating the housekeeping team day-to-day
Leading by example with hands-on cleaning and presentation standards
Allocating daily tasks and managing workloads efficiently
Ensuring health & safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
Working closely with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences

What we're looking for:
Experience working in high-end or luxury accommodation
A confident, supportive leadership style with the ability to command respect
A hands-on "all-rounder" who enjoys being operational
Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
Excellent awareness of health & safety standards
A positive, professional and team-focused approach
Full UK driving licence
The details:
14.15 per hour (rising to 14.45 after 1 year)
Approximately 29,432 per year
Plus service charge (2,000-2,500 per year)
Total package around 31,500 per year
40 hours per week
8 hours per day over 5 days (including weekends)
Variable shifts between 8am and 6pm
Meals on duty and uniform provided
