Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a

Turndown Attendant

to join our professional and hardworking Housekeeping Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle, creating truly memorable and impressive 5experiences for our guests.

About Us

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes' drive from Bristol, it offers 26 bedchambers and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.


Our company goal is to deliver "refined and personalised hospitality" to enable our hotel to be a place where all guests can relax, enjoy themselves and have a break from normal life. To feel like royalty in a unique place with unique people.



12.42 per hour (depending on experience) Part time, permanent position 9 hours a week, 6:30pm - 9:30pm 3 evenings a week, including weekends Ensuring bedrooms are prepared to the highest standard for the guests' comfort. Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and refreshing linen and towels. Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities, and collaterals. Engaging with guests where required. Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping manager. Cleaning rooms can be physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team.


Previous experience in hotel Housekeeping is desirable but not necessary Have a good eye for detail Have an interest in developing a career in hospitality
