Role: Disrepair Administrator

Contract Type: Fixed-term/secondment opportunity until 31st March 2027

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:50 pm

Worker Type: Hybrid - a mixture of office and home working is to be expected

Salary: Grade D - 26,824 - 27,694 per annum

Location: Harvey Road, NG8 3BB

About the Role



We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Disrepair Administrator

to join our Housing Services team. This vital role supports the Disrepair Team and the wider Asset Management function, helping to deliver an efficient and customer-focused service that improves housing conditions across Nottingham.

As a Disrepair Administrator, you will:

Provide a robust and fully comprehensive administrative support service to the Disrepair team, including responding to correspondence, inputting and accessing computerised information and maintaining accurate and concise records. Collate and redact all relevant documents as part of the disclosure process Assist with identifying areas for improvement by continuous monitoring and evaluating of administrative systems, processes and practices, to ensure this meets the support needs of the Disrepair team. Deliver on and contribute to the company's commitments to customer experience, access to services, equality and diversity plus value for money. Collate, analyse and extract all relevant information from the repairs records and produce a comprehensive chronology, meeting corporate targets and deadlines. Respond to a large volume and variety of enquiries from customers (tenants, leaseholders, owner occupiers), colleagues and contractor Partners. Liaise with customers (tenants, leaseholders, owner occupiers), colleagues and contractor Partners in order to resolve any customer experience issues from, councillor enquiries and general enquiries where necessary, meeting corporate targets and deadlines.

About You



The ideal candidate will:

1. Have good IT skills, with experience of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook)

2. Be well organised and have a methodical approach to completing tasks with an ability to prioritise.

3. Have a high level of accuracy and tenacity with attention to detail.

4. Demonstrate self-motivation, and be able to work with a minimum of supervision.

5. Be a great team player.

6. Have good verbal, written, and numerical skills
