Cleary & Co Solicitors are currently looking for an experienced Solicitor/Fee Earner to work in their housing disrepair team. The candidate must have experience handling Housing Disrepair files from start to end. The fee earner must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Litigation Executive.

Ideally you will have 12 months' experience of working on housing disrepair cases with strong knowledge of the housing disrepair protocol.
If you have a strong litigation background personal injury fee earners who are looking to retrain into Housing will also be considered.
Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor or CILEX.
Minimum: 12 months' experience of working on housing disrepair cases.
Have a full understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Disrepair cases
Have a full understanding of Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and Section 4 of the Defective Premises Act 1972, common law nuisance and negligence
Take a pragmatic commercial approach to settlements and advising clients as to litigation/cost risk
Excellent client care skills
Achieve various targets set in relation to WIP, fee income, and settlements, etc
Eagerness to be involved in the firm's social media presence and writing blogs for the firm's website.
