Driscoll Kingston Solicitors - Housing Repair Breach Handler

Location: Liverpool City Centre

Driscoll Kingston & Co. are currently looking for a Housing Repair Breach Handler to join our vibrant and fast-paced Housing Repair Breach team.

A housing repair breach claim occurs when a landlord fails to fulfill a previously agreed-upon or legally mandated repair obligation, even after a housing disrepair claim has been initiated. This can happen if repairs were agreed upon in a settlement agreement or court order but were not completed within the stipulated timeframe or to the agreed standard.

Main Responsibilities:

Review cases to ascertain whether further legal enforcement action is appropriate. Drafting Proceedings and Applications Drafting Witness statements Good Knowledge of CPR Dealing with Social Housing Tenants Drafting Application and Part 8 proceedings Send routine correspondence to Clients, landlords and Solicitors. Liaising with experts, counsel. Preparation of Court hearing bundles
