We are looking for an experienced and highly organised
Admin Manager
to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy community pharmacy. The successful candidate will ensure smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring efficient workflow across pharmacy and retail areas
Supervise and support pharmacy assistants, apprentices, and other team members
Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and manage rotas to ensure adequate cover
Ensure compliance with pharmacy SOPs, health and safety regulations, and company policies
Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve escalated queries or complaints
Support stock control processes including ordering, rotation, and replenishment
Liaise with the Superintendent Pharmacist and management team to deliver on KPIs and service quality
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and patient care standards

Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role (pharmacy, healthcare, or retail background desirable)
Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, customers, and staff
Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, customer-facing environment
Good knowledge of stock control, rota planning, and floor operations
Understanding of pharmacy/healthcare compliance requirements is an advantage

Working Hours
Full-time, 40-45 hours per week
Pharmacy open Monday to Sunday, 9am-6pm (shifts on a rota basis with 2 days off per week)
