We are seeking an experienced HR/Admin Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives that align with our business objectives. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources practices, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in various HR systems. Previous experience of NHS systems would be a great advantage.
The successful candidate will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment legislation, as well as take on further administrative roles specific to GP surgeries.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage the recruitment process including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
Foster a positive workplace culture through effective employee engagement initiatives and social media management.
Provide guidance on performance management processes and support managers in addressing employee performance issues.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while maintaining best practices in human resources.
Oversee administrative functions related to HR including payroll processing and benefits administration.
Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and develop training programmes to enhance employee skills.
Requirements
Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organisation.
Demonstrated experience in social media management.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
A solid understanding of employment legislation and best practices in human resources.
Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field are preferred.
