Job Purpose

As our HR Administrator, you'll be a vital part of a people-first team that's passionate about creating a positive workplace experience. You'll provide essential day-to-day support to the HR department, helping to keep operations running smoothly and ensuring our employee records are accurate, secure, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration:

Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection requirements. Prepare and issue contracts of employment, offer letters, and other HR correspondence. Support the onboarding process, including preparing induction materials, scheduling inductions, and updating new starter records. Assist with processing leavers, including preparing leaver letters and updating HR systems. Ensure HR databases and systems are up to date with employee information (e.g. absences, training, personal details). File and archive HR documents electronically and physically.
Employee Support & Communication:

Act as a first point of contact for general HR queries, escalating more complex matters to HR Specialists.
Recruitment & Training Support:

Assist HR Specialists with recruitment administration Carry out onboarding and right-to-work checks. Maintain training records and support the organisation of learning and development activities.
General HR Support:

Help prepare HR reports, statistics, and data for management when required. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as directed by HR Specialists or the HR Manager.
Skills & Attributes

Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HR systems. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. Professional, approachable, and supportive manner.
Experience & Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years' administrative experience, including confident use of IT systems such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), email, and data entry tools. A minimum of National 5 qualification in English Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role desirable (but not essential). Knowledge of HR processes and employment law basics is desirable.

Location: Clayton Glass, 6 James Street, Righead Industrial Estate, Bellshill, ML4 3LU Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 am - 4:00 pm Friday: 07:30 am - 3:00 pm 39 hours/week Some flexibility with start/finish times available Salary: 12.21 per hour Positions Available: 1 opportunity.
