This is an opportunity to join our fantastic HR team, supporting over 300 employees alongside the Head of HR, HR Business Partner, HR Associate and Training Officer. The role offers the opportunity to support all areas of HR, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and general HR administration.
As a successful applicant you will have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR or administrative role.
Experience in writing meeting minutes and notes.
Experience in maintaining systems and databases, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Experience in liaising effectively with different departments.
The ability to work successfully as part of a team.
A CIPD qualification or relevant degree (desirable).
Role of the HR Administrator
Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the effective running of the HR function across all homes and schools. You will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support, maintaining accurate employee data and records, and ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently and in line with company standards.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. You will be a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, demonstrating professionalism, confidentiality, and a proactive approach to your work.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, ensuring all HR processes and actions are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain up-to-date HR systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with GDPR requirements.
Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring all new starters and leavers are processed efficiently and all documentation and systems are updated.
Manage and update employee records, benefits, and training data.
Monitor and record all training activity, chasing attendance responses and helping to achieve a minimum of 95% compliance across all mandatory training.
Provide administrative support to the Learning & Development team, liaising with external trainers and managing training-related documentation.
Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports and HR data analysis for management review.
Take minutes at meetings, ensuring accurate and confidential note-taking.
Support the maintenance and roll-out of the HR system across the organisation, ensuring users are supported and information is accurate.
Update HR policies and procedures as required, ensuring they reflect current legislation and company standards.
Liaise with Home Managers, Education Leaders, and Regional Managers to maintain clear communication and consistent HR support across all sites.
Contribute to continuous improvement within the HR department by sharing ideas for more efficient ways of working.
